About

DTU Nanolab has a suite of nine complementary electron microscopes for nanoscale characterization in Life Science and Materials Science. Five scanning electron microscopes (SEM), including two dual beam instruments (SEM combined with a focused ion beam, FIB), and four transmission electron microscopes (TEM).

Beside the microscopes, our distinct preparation labs have several equipment that allows the preparation of hard and soft matter samples including biological samples (bio class II) prior to microscope analysis. In addition, there are a number of computers available for off-line image and spectral data analysis, image simulation, and image reconstruction. DTU Nanolab has dedicated staff that provides expertise, training and support to all users of the facility.
