I am looking for a highly motivated and ambitious PhD student to work on anti-stromal therapy in pancreatic cancer. The person will study how cancer-associated fibroblasts remodel the extracellular matrix of the tumour microenvironment and this can be perturbed to support chemotherapy treatment. The PhD student will work in a multidisciplinary, integrative approach to perform high quality translational research with collaborative partners world-wide.

The work will take place at Lund University, Sweden, but the PhD student will get to possibility to work in Dr. Thomas Cox’s laboratory at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Sydney, Australia for a period of 6-12 months.
