List of online talks and other opportunities from the Royal Microscopical Society

During these uncertain times with COVID-19, the RMS is working to help the microscopical community continue to share its knowledge and expertise remotely and are currently developing a dedicated website feature for their members to share information on a whole host of events, training, webinars and other items.

NEUBIAS Academy @Home – A new series of online events targeting Bioimage Analysis Technology

Live online events targeting all levels in Bioimage analysis. Live Online Courses will provide interactivity with the audience (e.g. exercises in virtual breakout rooms), live Webinars will target larger audience with specific topics, software tools, theoretical content or critical updates, from introductions to concepts to very advanced implementations.

Questions and Answers will be moderated by experts. Webinars will be recorded and made available on Youtube NEUBIAS Channel , and a thread per event will be opened in the image.sc Forum to report Q&As and to welcome further questions/comments.

Image deconvolution workshop

Image deconvolution workshop organized by Danish Bioimaging Network with Scientific Volume Imaging about Huygens software was a success. 22 participants from KU, AU, SDU, Danish Cancer research and Chemometec had a chance to learn more about deconvolution during 2 days workshop, which took place on the 14th and 15th of May in Copenhagen at Panum Institute. The workshop was fully booked!

Open Access journal offers No Publication Fees in 2019

Self-Assembly and Molecular Electronics (SAME) is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed open access journal covering the areas of molecular electronics, self assembly and Nanotechnology, with the aim to develop novel bottom – up approaches for the design and manufacturing of functional devices. SAME encourages original cross-disciplinary full research articles, rapid communications of important new scientific and technological findings and state-of-the-art reviews, as well as methodological papers.
